I am Udo Gerigk, an employee of KAST e.V. here in Neumünster and responsible for the project PORT – participation on site.
Today I want to talk with you about the conditions and basics of a simplistic founding.
As a rule, a club cannot have an economic, i.e. have commercial or other purposes. He may only operate casually and subordinately economically, i.e. You should not pursue the purpose of earning money with an association, in the first place.
If that is the case, then the German law knows a lot of other forms of society, including the GbR (civil partnership).
That if someone wants to earn money with the club, then the formation of an association is not recommended. Rather a GbR or registered cooperative or something else.
